Heston Blumenthal - Speech

Heston Blumenthal.

Imagine crab ice-cream, a kit kat as long as a football field and as thick as a houses and a ice-cream four meters high! How did this crazy way of making food get this big? And this strange?

Heston Blumenthal is the one ... Our real life ... Willy Wonka chef. Instead of cooking he does science.

Heston was born 27 May 1966 in United Kingdom Padding. He went to John Hampden Grammar School. Heston decided to be a chef after he had visited a restaurant in France. He was inspired by what he
saw and tasted.
He tried to get a job in restaurants in London but he was too young so he decided to teach himself. ... by cooking in his kitchen day and night he cooked diner, breakfast and lunch for his parents, till he opened his first restaurant Fat duck. Amazingly he earned 3 Michelin stars in just 7 years.

Now he is a English celebrity chef and owner of several restaurants. But Heston is closing  this famous restaurant as he is planning on working with his entire British staff at the Crown Resorts in 2015 in Melbourne.

According to Blumenthal his first signature dish was Triple Cooked Chips  created in 1995. This has since been joined by many others that sound very interesting. Imagine bacon and egg ice-cream or biting into snail porridge. These are both in his fat duck restaurants. Imagine the challenge of creating a cone which would hold one tonne of ice-cream. Heston has also had many TV shows such as Kitchen Chemistry, Heston's Feasts and Heston's Fantastical, Food.
This is why Heston is my inspiration to cook, my inspiration to be a chef ... my inspiration to make a difference.
