School Camp day 4

Everyone was on the ferry travelling home. As we crossed the Cook Straits, a few were beginning to feel seasick. The boat was rocking and rolling and the waves were hitting the bow of the boat. All you could hear above the roar of the waves was Mrs Cumings telling people to look out the window at the land in the distance, which was the tip of the South Island.

After an hour or so you could eventually see land ahoy and soon after we were sailing into Wellington Harbour.  When the boat had finally settled, Pam came out of the bathroom.

Once we had arrived and collected our baggage from the carousel, we got into our car groups.  However we just got news about a truck overturning on the road, so we decided to fill in a bit of time and have dinner at a Japanese restaurant called the Wagamama. The meal was totally delicous.

It was just getting dark when we got back into our cars to hit the highway for home.
